While not directly used as a character name, Moliere's works have been adapted numerous times for film and stage, including 'Molière' (2007) - a French film starring Romain Duris as the playwright. The movie 'All the World's a Stage' (1984) also depicts his life. His plays like 'Tartuffe' and 'The Misanthrope' are frequently performed on stage and adapted for screen.
