Steve Packer is a photographer and writer based in Sydney, Australia. He has specialised in dog photography for four years, and is devoted to it.

A former editor of Australian Photography magazine, he has written and lectured on many aspects of photography. His dog work has appeared in magazines including Dog's Life!, Photo Asia, Australian Photography and Spotlight in Germany, and the guide Walking the Dog in Sydney.

The Phodographer is commissioned, both privately and commercially, for his naturalistic style.
