Every month we nominate our favourite pet names...they may have tickled our fancy or be clever or unique. We hope you enjoy them!

Sept 2009

• Ballofur: So cute he looks like a little ball-of-fur!
• Dammit: This is convenient...when he's missing or run outside you can just yell 'Dammit get in here!'
• Chairman Meow: Feline leader of Chinese variety - a takeoff on Chairman Mao, founder of the People's Republic of China (1893-1976).

Aug 2009

• Facebook: For the most networked pet in the hood (or the pet who likes to read?)
• Myspace: Another option for the pet who wants to get his/her name out there! (or the pet who justs needs his own space!)

July 2009

• Einstein: A pet more brains than beauty. Named after scientist Albert Einstein (1879-1955), famous for his theory of relativity.
• Klutz: This hapless pet just can't help knocking into things, knocking over things, and making a mess!

June 2009

• Boomerang: For the pet who may wonder off sometimes, but always manages to find his/her way back!
• Bondi: A pet who loves water and running around on the sand deserves to be named after this famous Aussie beach. If you're after a US beach, why not go for Waikiki or Malibu?

May 2009

• Bacon & Eggs: Good for a pair of early morning risers with a healthy appetite! Another meaty option is Bangers & Mash.
• Cookies & Cream: For those with a sweet tooth, Cookies & Cream are sure to go down well!

April 2009

• Jasmine: Celebrate spring with a flowery name for your sweet smelling pet
• Daisy: Another cute spring option for a gorgeous cat or dog.

March 2009

• Sean/Heath: In honor of Mr Penn and Mr Ledger, best actor/supporting actor Oscar winners 2009. For the boy who knows how to put on a good show!
• Kate/Penelope: Ms Winslet and Cruz provide inspiration for the Oscar winning performances....and feature as our preferred female names this month

Feb 2009

• Harley: A popular name for the cool dude who likes to ride! Short for Harley Davidson motorcycle, the US manufacturer of classic motorcycles.
• Axel/Axl: Father of peace, trustworth and dependable....also a very cool rock and roller!

Jan 2009

• Snow: Cool weather calls for a cool name....variations include Snowball, snowmobile, Snow White or just plain old Snowy!
• Bo: Good enough for the president's pooch and we like it cos it's short and sweet too! (Meaning: Precious one, fine and good)
• Flo: Rhymes with Bo, go with the flo', Flo Rider is cool....so why not?
